Today is day 1 for our cleanse. For the next week, the only food going into our bodies is:

• broccoli
• apples
• tomatoes
• celery
• pears
• strawberries
• green tea
• potatoes
• mangos
• grapes
• brown rice
• lemons
• peaches
• spinach
• carrots
• hummus
• water

No artificial anything and all raw. Goodbye processed food, hello cleansed body!

Treasure Hunt

Kevin is the best sport. I sent him on a treasure hunt for our monthiversary yesterday. It started in Steubenville and went to Robinson, downtown Pittsburgh, and ended on Mount Washington at the lookout. 2 1/2 hours later, we were finally together! My awesome housemate Jenee came with me and drove my car back so Kev and I could have dinner (@ Southside!) and drive back together. He even brought me flowers and carried a green star balloon everywhere he went because one of the clues told him too!








He's the best boyfriend in the whole wide world =)

Happiness

I made it to Steubenville safe and sound! I'm already having an incredible time. I simply love spending time and doing random errands with Kevin. We went to the eye doctor yesterday. That was an experience in itself (and of course we played with the glasses.)

Today was the best day ever. Kevin and I went with our new super-awesome-hardcore-missionary friend, Katie Gesto, on a roadtrip to Loretto, PA, to visit with Father Michael Scanlan. We spent hours just listening to him tell stories... Healing blind people, getting kicked out of Buckingham Palace, being friends with Mother Teresa, being roommates with George Steinbrenner, and many many more! That man is so amazing!!! Saint Fr. Mike. Sounds good to me. =)

On our way home, I told Kevin and Katie that one of my bucket list items is to play in a corn field. Well, because they are SO awesome, we did just that! Check!

Moral of the stories: I am so happy!!!

Finally!!

So, I've been wanting a blog for a while. What more perfect time to get one when I'm about to start a new adventure! I'm not too sure how long this blogging business will last, but I'm giving it a try. And I'm really getting annoyed with Facebook. Hello blogging world!
